Buyer Forwarding Guide
You are forwarding this pack to one or more Chinese suppliers. The pack lets a factory quality engineer act without translating your emails: English sheets to file, Chinese pages to read.
Three-step send
- Fill sheet 01-Buyer-Requirements (dates, category) before sending — an unconfigured pack reads as spam.
- Attach the initial-request email from 01-EMAILS and paste your product/model into the subject.
- State the duty split in the email (who creates / maintains / registers) — under Art 77(4)(10) the first placer on the EU market carries creation and registration; put it in writing.
Reading the replies
- Status-only workbooks — evidence stays in the supplier’s systems (by design, no secrets transit).
- “Requested upstream” means a real dependency; set weekly follow-ups, escalate after 7 silent days.
- N-A without a reason is not an answer — ask for the reason (deferred/exempt, business-n-a, or buyer-confirmed).
What not to expect
- GB-standard test reports are not substitutes for EN/IEC methods — budget re-tests.
- Chinese carbon-footprint numbers do not convert 1:1 to EU methodology.
- Deferred items (recycled content, due diligence — from 18 Aug 2027) are not Feb-2027 deliverables.
